As a disabled man with a chronic illness who struggles to not hate my body and sometimes thinks that it makes me unlovable or a burden, I can not even begin to tell you how much Jayce's speech to Viktor about how he was never broken, that there is beauty in imperfections and those same imperfections (ie Viktor's illness and his bad leg) are part of what Jayce admires about him, and that all he wants now is to have him back, means to me.

I see gifsets and fanarts of this moment, and I want to cry from emotions I can't even name.

I started watching arcane a few weeks ago but stopped after the second episode— then I saw a BUNCH of stuff about Jayce and Viktor (when I first started watching they immediately, especially Viktor, were my favorites) but then I got spoilers and my god.

I love the fan stuff I see but now that I see edits with sad songs (like “The Night We Met”) I am just in utter shock by what happens to them. There’s just this resting feeling of “they’re happy” and two quotes keep circling

“You were never broken Viktor. There is beauty in imperfections. They made you who you are; an inseparable piece of everything I admired about you.”

“In all the timelines, in all possibilities, only you could show me this.” (But most things leave out the could show me this and I 100% get it)

It like hurts to watch these characters and root for them to succeed in what they hope to achieve but know that in the end, they don’t get their happy ending. They do get to be with each other in their final moments, but did it ever have to be like this? Did it ever have to end like that?

And I know that when I eventually get to the finale, I will sob. I’m already feeling my heart sink as I watch and I haven’t even got to the betrayals/Viktor leaving/Viktor being sick (I’m on episode four ish) I sobbed at the final episode of the good place and was not emotionally okay for like a week bc of the finale.

(Not confused about lore, I just don’t know why it had to get to the point that it did and then when they do finally forgive each other it’s in their final moments-I hope this makes sense lol)
